What Does the Toyota Mobile Collision Assistance Service Do?
Toyota Mobile Collision Assistance is available to drivers via Toyota Safety Connect and was developed to help you in the moments after an accident. With the Collision Assistance Service, the Toyota owners app will provide you with step-by-step instructions for the post-collision process. Created in tandem with CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc., the Mobile Collision Assistance app will send accident and vehicle data to an interface that will provide you with a best course of action in an emergency.
Toyota Collision Assistance is an extension of the Toyota Safety Connect app and is available in select Toyota and Lexus models manufactured after 2018. Following an accident, you will be prompted to confirm that you are safe and without injury via Mobile Collision Assistance. When your status is confirmed, the app will prompt you to collect the necessary insurance and accident documentation from the other driver and will connect you to a network of auto insurers to help you submit a claim if necessary. The app will provide prompts and instructions every step of the way – from collision to repair.
