Downeast Toyota’s Service Department is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team of automotive professionals. The successful candidate should possess a sincere desire to work as part of a team focused on long term customer satisfaction and retention, excellent customer service skills and a professional personal appearance.


Job Description:

The Service Advisor is responsible for educating and advising vehicle owners about recommended manufacturer service maintenance and repairs, outstanding safety campaigns and recalls and recommending necessary and appropriate additional services to enhance our customers’ vehicle ownership experience and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years retail automotive customer service experience.
  • Availability to work four (4), ten hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday on a rotating schedule.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple assignments in a timely manner.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operation.
  • Valid Maine Driver’s License and safe driving record.
  • The ability to keyboard quickly and accurately.


Preferred but not required:
  • ASE or Manufacturer Certification
  • Familiarity with CDK and Microsoft Office operating systems and other commonly used dealership software applications.
