Each trim level has upgrades. In general, a trim level that costs more will have all of the features of the trim levels below it, along with upgrades and additional perks. So, we’ll skip over the base trim level, the SE. Moving up to the SE Nightshade, you get what the SE offers, plus black exterior features like wheels and the front grille. If you love black, that’s your trim level. The XLE trim level adds an upgraded audio system and leather, heated seats. The XSE adds upgraded wheels and sport-tuned suspension. Moving into the higher trim levels, the TRD has unique wheels and a unique grille. The TRD, XLE V6, and XSE V6 have a 3.5 L V6 24-valve DOHC engine. The XLE V6 and XSE V6 are upgraded versions of the XLE and XSE respectively, with that engine, panoramic sunroofs, and upgraded audio systems. That covers all of the main upgrades, but a test drive can get you a better idea of how they compare.
