2019 Toyota Avalon Design and Style Changes

All-new 2019 Toyota Avalon models are longer, lower and wider than the previous edition and employ Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). With a larger design, passengers will benefit from a more spacious cabin that includes best-in-class rear shoulder room at 57.1 inches, rear legroom at 40.3 inches and rear headroom at 37.5 inches. A longer wheelbase measures 113 inches and contributes to a total length of 196 inches. The next-generation Toyota Avalon promises a head-turning style with a wider grille available in distinct finishes, slim LED headlights, connected LED taillights, 19-inch wheels and Dynamic Auxiliary Turn Signals.

What’s Under the Hood of the 2019 Toyota Avalon?

Power and performance get an instant upgrade when you slide into the driver’s seat of the 2019 Toyota Avalon. A standard 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine will be replaced by an all-new 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 that features Toyota D-4S fuel injection and is paired with a Direct Shift eight-speed automatic transmission. With this combination under the hood, the 2019 Avalon is expected to be more efficient than ever. Toyota Avalon Hybrid variants will employ a next-gen Toyota Hybrid System II with a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force Engine and a high-torque electric motor.
