When Will the 2022 Toyota Tundra Go on Sale in Bangor ME? 

Fans of the rugged, hard-working Toyota Tundra will have the chance to get behind the wheel of the 2022 Toyota Tundra by the end of 2021. When the redesigned Toyota Tundra goes on sale at Downeast Toyota, it will be available in six trim levels – SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition and TRD Pro – manufactured in San Antonio. Built with a high-strength steel-ladder frame, an aluminum-reinforced composite bed, a multi-link rear suspension, the brand-new Toyota Tundra will upgrade utility and comfort. Toyota Tundra models will feature Double Cab and CrewMax Cab body styles with three bed lengths to choose from – a 5.5-foot short bed, a 6.5-foot standard bed and an 8.1-foot long bed. 

What Are the 2022 Toyota Tundra Engine Options and Specs? 

An arsenal of brand-new engine options will complement the rugged style of the next-generation 2022 Toyota Tundra. The standard powertrain will be a 389-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 that manufactures 479 pound-feet of torque – marked improvements over the previous Toyota Tundra powertrain. Later in the model year, the Toyota Tundra will add a 437-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain that makes 583 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard across the lineup. The revamped 2022 Toyota Tundra will tow up to 12,000 pounds of cargo with a maximum payload of 1,940 pounds.  

The bold exterior style of the 2022 Toyota Tundra is complemented by an innovative, fully-loaded interior. To keep you and your family connected, the Toyota Tundra will feature a standard 8-inch Toyota Entune™ 3.0 multimedia touchscreen infotainment system that adds access to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Infotainment gets an upgrade with a best-in-class 14-inch touchscreen display. The Toyota Intelligent Assistant makes connecting to the Toyota Tundra multimedia system easy – just say “Hi Toyota” and ask your question. Additional highlights of the Toyota Tundra interior include standard Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5 driver-assist systems, an available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, optional Cockpit Red leather interior and much more.
